How do I keep from feeling fat and short?

Everywhere I go, I feel like I'm the shortest and fattest person, especially in school. Every girl I know who's my age is either taller than me or thinner (or both) and that makes me feel bad (and a lot of these girls eat a lot more than me). Even the female child actors in TV shows (ex. iCarly's Miranda Cosgrove) and the female characters in one of my video games are taller and weigh less than me (my Imagine: Family Doctor game). I'm not going to try to lose weight (tried for two years and it didn't work) and I don't I can't change my height. I hate myself and my body weight and height. I don't want to feel this way, but how do I get rid of it?

I'm 14 (15 in 2 more weeks), I'm 5"3 and I weight 122 lbs. And I'm not looking forward to my 15th birthday.|||What? sweetie you are not fat or short. My sister is 5'3 and weighs about 135 and she is neither fat nor short. Don't focus on losing weight but turning excess body fat into muscle. When you walk down the hall tighten your stomach muscles, keep your shoulders back and walk with your head held high.|||alot of guys really like petite girls but I am gonna be honest and tell you that is a little fat for someone your height. Do not worry tough because you can lose weight very esily, excercise at least and hoour everyday and keep a diary of everything you eat and make sure it is under 1500 calories everyday. You will lose weight. It takes work, but it is worth it, trust me. I have been there. :)

Nothing tastes as good as thin feels. This is very true.|||All i hope is that i can help you! You know all actresses were or still are worried about their weight. I had seen others actors who are over weighted. You know, forget about actors and stuff, nobodies perfect, even movie stars to singers. Sometimes, i even see over weighted actors and singers but they don't care if they are over weighted. So that's what you should be doing. Not caring about being over weighted a bit. I hope I had helped!|||to keep from feeling fat well your probably not fat, just think you are (no offense), get an honest opinion from a bff she'll tell you the truth and to not feel short you could where heels, if it s not a fancy occasion were high flip flops or sneakers. that should help. hope it does.|||honestly, if you just try to cut your portions a little bit and try to stay away from extra things on your food like ketchup, mayo, mustard etc. you will drop a few pounds and feel a thousand times better about yourself. it is getting nicer out now so maybe you could start jogging or just walking around your neighborhood. anything helps and a few pounds really make a difference. good luck|||im 12 and all the girls are taller than me but i m skinny i weigh 69lbs..i feel so low to the ground only 4 feet and 6 inches so i feel like u ....i like too run daily and swim 6 days a week if u do gymnastics i heard that stunns your growth intil you stop for a month|||don't judge yourself based on actresses, they all have to be skinny and "pretty" to become actresses.|||Lose weight and take growth hormones!|||hang around people shorter and fater than you|||ur bmi is 21.60! thats Not bad at all! I personaly dont think that you are fat! true!|||Well, you're comparing yourself to the wrong people. Actors are, on average, a lot skinnier than the rest of us.

This is about learning to love yourself.

I'm your height and I weight 130. There's days I feel fat and ugly, but there's a couple of things that make me feel better:

1 - My best friend. Same height, weighs about 150 and she's gorgeous. So I hang out with her and remind myself weight is just a number.

2 - Working out. I'm in martial arts, and it feels really good kicking/punching a striking pad to release all the bad feeling. Also, it's great because you realize how amazing your body is and all the stuff you can do.

3 - Changing clothes like crazy and giving myself a mini at-home spa treatment.

4 - Dancing. You're working out, so you feel better, get more toned, and you have fun. What's not to love?

5 - Sexy heels. They make you look taller and your legs look longer. Short skirts (or shorts) also help. You also have to learn to dress according to your body type.

Seriously, I don't think you should worry. And here's a fact: the average female in the US is 5'4" and 140 lbs. So you may be petite, but most of the guys I know love that, and you are most definitely not fat.

Chances are you'll grow an inch or two taller by the time you're 18, and I promise you'll be a lot happier with your figure then. I developed young, but I didn't start to shape up until much later, so you still have plenty of time.

Just loooove yourself!
